侯朝辉1974年生,教授、博士、硕士生导师;湖南理工学院科技处处长、湖南省高校学科带头人、湖南省新世纪121人才工程人选、湖南省科技人才托举工程项目人选。

1996年,湖南大学化学化工学院腐蚀与防护专业本科毕业;2001年,湖南大学化学化工学院材料学专业研究生毕业,获硕士学位;2004年,中南大学冶金科学与工程学院冶金物理化学专业毕业,获博士学位。20148月至20158月,美国密苏里大学化学系访问学者。

主要从事纳米材料(新型多孔炭、碳纳米管、石墨烯等碳基纳米材料,金属氧化物纳米材料,复合纳米材料)的制备及其在新型化学电源(超级电容器、锂/钠离子电池、燃料电池)、光电催化、应用电化学等方面的应用研究。主持(完成)国家自然科学基金面上项目2项、重点项目子项目1项、青年项目1项,湖南省自然科学基金重点资助项目1项、青年项目1项,中国博士后科学基金项目1项,湖南省博士后科研专项项目1项,湖南省教育厅重点科研项目1项,横向合作项目1。在ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces Journal of Power SourcesChemElectroChemElectrochimica ACTAMaterials Chemistry and PhysicsMaterials LettersMaterials Research Bulletin等国内外学术期刊发表相关论文70余篇(SCIEI收录60余篇),申请国家发明专利6项。获中国有色金属工业协会科学技术奖一等奖1项(排5)、岳阳市科技进步二等奖2项(排14)、湖南省教学成果二等奖1项(排2),2010年获岳阳市第三届青年科技奖。
